Is Snapping Turtle a Chili Crunch Oil?Snapping Turtle has similarities to Chili Crunch Oil, however it is far more expansive in its flavor profile, incorporates many more spices, is sweet and savory, and includes an unexpected "snap' to its product, beyond just a crunch.

Do you use cane sugar in your products?We use a Monk Fruit Sugar blend that also contains Erythritol. Additionally our snapping textured product is made with corn syrup solids.

What if any are the major allergens to your products?Our products do contain small amounts of lactose (dairy), sesame seeds, white and black and depending on the product may include coconut milk which is a tree nut.

Where is your product manufactured?Currently, Snapping Turtle products are manufactured in a sanitary home-based facility under the rules and guidelines of the Oregon Cottage Law Act. As demand continues to grow, production will move to an FDA-certified and inspected facility, at which point labels will be branded with clarifying certifications.

Can I buy your products at a store near me?Starting in June of 2024 the Snapping Turtle products will be easily purchased from our online store and at Farmers Markets within Central Oregon. We hope to expand into retail in Oregon in Q4 of 2024. We will make announcements via our Newsletter keeping you up to speed on where you can find Snapping Turtle in person!

Are there preservatives in your products?Snapping Turtle products do not add additional preservatives to any of their products. Depending on some of the spices we do use, they may have natural shelf life stabilizers for freshness. We do our best to not use ingredients that are highly processed and we stick to clean ingredients that we can trace via a certificate of analysis to prove there are no contaminants that would potentially be harmful. All ingredients are considered GRAS.

Are your products gluten free?YES! Snapping Turtle Sweet and Savory oils are gluten free!

Do I need to refrigerate my product?Snapping Turtle products do not need to be refrigerated but they certainly can be. It is best to store your product in a area that is free from direct sunlight and less than 85 degrees. The shelf life of an opened jar is about 60 days, unopened, 12 months.
